Experience in advising countries (Kyrgyzstan, Uruguay, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Fiji), international institutions (UNDP, UNEP-FI, WB, EIB, EU Commission), municipalities (Lisbon, Milan, Sofia, Vienna), on sustainable finance strategies. Extensive expertise in the agri-food field, working agricultural fund structuring and project selection in the agricultural sector across multiple continents (Latin America, Asia, EU). Experience in sovereign debt structuring, especially Debt for Nature Swaps, Debt for Climate Swaps, SDG Bonds, Green Bonds, Blue Bonds, and Sustainability linked Bonds. Strong expertise in sustainability standards and guidelines (CDP, GRI, IPCC, CDSB, VRF, IFRS, UNFCCC and others).

With a background in international development policy research, design and delivery, Gregoire draws on over 10 years + in financial management, policy analysis and foresight for corporates, governments, IOs, INGOs and SMEs (responsAbility Investments, GE, Engie, Challenges Worldwide/Mastercard Foundation, Tony Blair Institute, Project Circleg, CIBAFI). His investment universe focuses predominantly on fair agriculture, climate & nature-based solutions, commodities, renewables, microfinance and digital innovation. A deep generalist, Gregoire graduated in IR (BA – Sussex) and IPP (MSc – UCL), attended the Executive Impact Investment Programme (Oxford) and obtained the PLC (Harvard), adapting leadership in full support of the circular economy, digital financial inclusion & regenerative practice.

Over 15 years of experience in biodiversity conservation and finance across three continents. Extensive experience in deforestation free commodities, inclusive conservation, landscape approach and conservation strategy. Experience in advancing biodiversity conservation in fragile and conflict intense countries.
